The mung bean was also known as green gram or golden gram and is mainly cultivated in the Indian subcontinent .It is a storehouse of nutrients and it is a nutrition giving food and they are rich in Vitamin B, VITAMIN C ,Proteins, Manganese and a lot of other essential nutrients required for effective functioning of the human health.
